When I called my mom last night I was able to talk to Emily for a minute.

I asked her what she was doing. Her response was, “Watching the rain fall.”

I miss them.

Update on Emily...she's no longer watching the rain...she's has pepaw at the Dollar Store looking for the fixings for so'mores to be prepared at Mamagran's house. Oh, Jacob is with them.

Further update...Jacob is napping because he was up most of the night with his "leg pains." We now have Motrin. You also have a new pet. Emily just came in with a baby turtle. It is on Mamagran's kitchen table in a strawberry container waiting for a trip to Round Rock. I told her she could take it home.

Icertainly hope you make her wash her hands before eating. Ugh. I bet she is thrilled to pieces about her new pet. She has been after one for a while.
